You existing USB/external flash drives may still contain some remnants of deleted files. To start with a clean slate, CLEAN your flash drive by doing a FULL Format and NOT a QUICK Format.
This takes some time, around 20 minutes or more depending on the capacity of your device. Then moving forward, use X-Purge everytime you need to delete files to make sure they really get destroyed.

1. If X-Purge seem to CRASH, please DISABLE your anti-Virus(AV) program temporarily while you delete files or whitelist X-Purge. Due to the nature of how X-Purge processes your target files for deletion, some AV programs may categorize it as a virus or malware by mistake.

2. If X-Purge seems to hang in the middle of its operation for a long time with any update, it is possible that you computer is a bit slow or laggy.
In this case, try deleting fewer files/folders at a time.
